One of our passions is creating logos for start-up businesses. This one was created for Avellana Translations, based on Lowestoft, Suffolk.
Avellana Translations provide an English/Spanish translation service with a specialism in medical texts. Avellana means Hazel in Spanish and Hazel the name of the business owner.
The brief was to create a logo with a device that could sit as a standalone identity. The end result is the combination of a capital A and capital T with the colours of the United Kingdom and Spanish flags. The shape is also indicative of a pencil tip which relates to the written translation work of the business.
